Sandford Orchards is a producer of real ciders and are based in Fordton, Crediton, Devon.
Sandford Orchards cider is run by Barny Butterfield and his wife Marie. Cider was first made by them commercially in 2003.
The business started in the parish of Sandford where the Butterfields are from and where they still harvest the majority of the apples pressed, although they have moved a couple of miles down the road from where they first started to Lower Park Farm.
Many varieties of cider apple are grown on the orchards at the farm, as well as a further 20 acres of desert fruit including pears, plums and cherries.
