New Forest Cider is a real cider producer based near Ringwood, Hampshire.

The shop and gallery, once a cow shed and village dairy, sells a variety of traditional produce including, preserves, country wines, handmade pottery, apple juice and their own range of sparkling ciders and perry. You can sample the cider straight from the barrel, whilst watching a slide show of how New Forest Cider is made. Opening times vary depending on the time of year, so it is best to call prior to your visit.

As well as the shop and gallery on the grounds, they also operate a cider bar stand at the famous Borough Market in London on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. See here for more info.

They also give members of the public a chance to see cider making as it was done in days gone by at their annual open weekend in Burley. Using a 'Workman' steam driven press and an antique rachet twin hand screw press filtered through straw they demonstrate the art of cider making the old fashioned way with a variety of vintage presses, ranging from a 'workman' steam driven mobile press to the simplicity of a hand operated twin screw press using straw as a filter. You can then sample the finished product in the farm shop.

There will also be traditional country craft demonstrations including: Hurdle making and wood turning, A blacksmith and wheelwright, Steam engine and tractor displays, Swing boats and coconut shy, traditional fairground attractions, museum pieces, Foden Steam Lorry, table top steam engines, cider through the ages and apple displays.
