Mahorall Farm is a real cider producer based in Nash, Ludlow in Shropshire.

Mahorall is a small family farm situated seven miles east of the town of Ludlow, the farm has been owned and run by the King-Turner family for nearly 40 years. In 2000, the King-Turner family moved from traditional mixed farming to making a small amount of traditional cider for sale. Today, they make over 30000 litres of cider a year using apples from the farm and the surrounding area.

Their cider is available for sale in their farm shop which is normally open every day from 12.00pm - 5.00pm, although anyone wanting to visit is advised to ring first to make sure there is somebody there.

Their cider is made from 100% pure apple juice and nothing but pure apple juice! It is fermented by wild natural yeast which comes from is either the atmosphere or on the apples used. They also don't add any sulphites to any of their drinks, looking at their website, this seems to be something they believe quite strongly in.... and rightly so!

In their shop, they usually have at least 3 different varying draught ciders available for customers to sample and purchase. All of these are non sparkling, normally both dry and medium with a varying abv of between 5% and 8%. Prices are from £1.90 - £2.50 per litre and 1 litre - 22 litre containers are extra. However, you are welcome to bring your own.

They also make a dry and medium sparkling version of the their cider in 50cl glass bottles, these are pasteurised and filtered for a longer life, and are now also making a Damson Cider.
