Kingston Black is a type of apple originating from the UK which is often used in making cider.

Despite the name it is red!

It is a bittersweet to bittersharp Cider Apple; Medium Tannin; Medium Acid; Flowering Mid-Season; Cropping mid-October - early-November.

Some producers that make Kingston Black cider include Sheppys, Broadoak, Hecks and Gwatkins.
