Dunkertons is a producer of ciders and perries based in Leominster, Herefordshire.
About
Dunkertons is a family company started in 1979 by Susie and Ivor Dunkerton. Having escaped from London they set about trying to make a smallholding of eighteen acres work. Cider was the answer. Herefordshire has one dominating cider company, but unlike Somerset has few farm producers. The Dunkertons saw an opportunity, realized their dream and have grown ever since.
Dunkertons Ciders and Perry are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Their cider shop (selling a range of bottles and draft ciders available in gallon demi-jons or in your own containers) is open from 10am to 5pm every day except Sundays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Sparkling ciders and perry are available nationwide at most licensed organic shops and also at:
- Tanners of Shrewsbury
- E H Booth of Preston
- Waitrose
Still ciders and perrys have a more limited distribution.
